Responsibilities


  • Software Provisioning: Ensure and manage the installation and upgrades of new software packages
  • Infrastructure Availability: Maintain operational readiness in accordance with OLAs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • System Monitoring: Continuously monitor performance and track it against negotiated SLAs
  • Support Processes: Implement ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management
  • Failure Analysis: Analyze console messages, diagnose system failures, and initiate corrective measures
  • Availability Assurance: Monitor backup processing and lead disaster recovery tests
  • Improvement Management: Communicate improvement, update, and obsolescence requirements to the IT product manager


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or IT systems clerk, or a comparable qualification (minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent)
  • At least several years of professional experience in IT / information systems
  • Specific experience with document management systems (DMS) and Microsoft Active Directory (AD)
  • Experience in ITIL-based ticket processing is required
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server is mandatory
  • Experience with PowerShell is required
  • Microsoft Windows Server Admin certification is advantageous
  • Communication skills and a high degree of initiative
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
