At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will take on the role of Engineer as Aircraft Manager FAL, responsible for the operational control and coordination in the Final Assembly Line (FAL) for the Single Aisle family. You ensure a smooth production flow, manage supplier performance, and drive the timely completion of aircraft.

Responsibilities


  • Production Control: Plan work packages in the Final Assembly Line (FAL) and ensure timely completion
  • Team Coordination: Provide technical supervision to the team, prepare and moderate production meetings
  • Supplier Management: Manage national and international suppliers, monitor their performance, and assess risks
  • Disruption Management: Initiate and coordinate measures to eliminate internal and external production disruptions
  • Project Work: Contribute to national and international projects and align topic-specific goals
  • Reporting: Create reports and take over monitoring and controlling of production processes
  • Quality Assurance: Manage non-conformities from internal suppliers and ensure coordination of rework


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Engineering or Aerospace (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience in work preparation, manufacturing/production, and production planning/control
  • Many years of mandatory experience in aviation (at least 5 years)
  • Good knowledge of SAP (detailed functions) and Google Workspace
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Knowledge of production processes in aircraft manufacturing required; knowledge of Skywise advantageous
  • Flexibility for possible Saturday work
  • Independent, structured, and results-oriented working style, strong communication skills, as well as persuasiveness and assertiveness
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
