From structure assembly to final assembly – you manage the entire aircraft outfitting process.

At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will take on the overall responsibility for the Single Aisle outfitting assembly as an Engineer as Aircraft Manager Single Aisle. You coordinate the entire process flow, optimize critical work packages, and act as the central interface between internal and external partners. Your work is crucial for the timely and quality-compliant handover of aircraft sections to the final assembly lines.

Responsibilities


  • Process Control: Accompany and control the entire process from structure assembly through outfitting assembly to handover to the final assembly lines
  • Workflow Management: Monitor and prioritize the entire inflow and outflow of critical work packages and topics
  • Interface Management: Act as the central point of contact between suppliers and internal customers
  • Quality Management: Record non-conformities during the production process, prioritize them, and generate solutions that meet time and quality requirements
  • Process Optimization: Analyze recurring issues and root causes and initiate continuous improvement processes
  • International Coordination: Ensure and coordinate the handover to international final assembly lines


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in aircraft construction, engineering, or aerospace engineering or a comparable master craftsman qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in aircraft construction and the aerospace industry
  • Several years of experience in supplier management, manufacturing engineering, and project management
  • Proficient use of SAP (knowledge of detailed functions) and Google Workspace
  • Good knowledge of risk management
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1); French language skills are an advantage
  • Analytical mindset, structured and independent way of working, as well as strong communication skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
