You prepare flight and ground tests, define scenarios, and evaluate the data obtained – with technical depth and a clear eye for deviations. The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 63,141 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.06.2027. Responsibilities


  • Flight test preparation: Assisting in the planning and preparation of flight and ground tests for aircraft
  • Test definition: Participation in defining test content and scenarios
  • Test monitoring: Monitoring flight tests at the ground station
  • Data analysis: Evaluation of flight test data and preparation of reports on results and deviations
  • Instrumentation: Definition of requirements for flight test instrumentation
  • Software development: Development of analysis routines or definition of requirements for analysis software in the field of flight test data
  • Project coordination: Close collaboration with development and test teams within and outside the company


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of IT / information systems
  • Experience in conducting ground and flight tests on aircraft is an advantage
  • Knowledge of fighter aircraft avionics is desirable
  • Detailed specialist knowledge of MS-Office; ideally knowledge of programming tools
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Willingness to work at the aircraft and to work temporarily under pressure
  • Teamwork skills, good communication skills, and analytical thinking
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
