At Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching, you will work as an Engineer Human-Machine Interface to develop holistic human-machine interfaces for complex aerospace systems. Responsibilities


  • Human-Machine Interfaces: Holistic development for complex systems – from pre-design to verification
  • Certification Support according to civil and military regulations
  • Human Factors Engineering: Application of specific tools and procedures
  • Work Package Responsibility for human-factors-specific tasks
  • System Development with a focus on user experience and software ergonomics
  • Validation and Verification of interfaces using prototyping methods
  • Safety Demonstration for system aspects


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Psychology, Engineering, Aerospace, or Human Factors Engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering, ideally in the aerospace sector
  • Deepened experience in Human Factors Engineering is mandatory
  • Detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office; experience with graphical user interfaces is an advantage
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Teamwork and communication skills in an international environment
  • Self-reliant, systematic, and self-motivated way of working
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
