Responsibilities
- Process Definition: Define and take responsibility for configuration management processes for the FCAS programme
- Process Implementation: Ensure the implementation and compliance of defined processes
- Process Optimisation: Continuous improvement of process performance and efficiency
- Methods & Tools: Plan and introduce configuration management methods, processes, and tools across the entire product life cycle
- Operational Support: Advise and support operational configuration management on process and tool issues
- Data Security: Protect data integrity, create baselines, and manage archiving
- Training: Train project teams in the application and compliance of CM processes
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience in configuration management and engineering
- Profound knowledge in information management, data security, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- Very good knowledge of PLM/PDM tools as well as software development and CM tools
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- High sense of responsibility, diligence, and structured way of working
- Good communication skills and team orientation
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
