Responsibilities


  • 3D/2D design and validation of metal, composite, and hybrid components for wing structures
  • Ensure airworthiness by complying with all relevant design guidelines, processes, and aviation regulations
  • Actively support supplier monitoring during concept and design approvals
  • Provide manufacturing support for non-conformities within the Non-Conformity Process
  • Address in-service issues and develop solutions for operational support
  • Configuration management from concept studies to modification release, including creation of configuration overviews
  • Interface coordination with system engineering, manufacturing, stress, and fatigue teams


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (at least Technician/Technical Manager level)
  • Several years of professional experience in design and engineering, ideally with composite and metal design principles
  • Several years of experience in configuration management
  • Proficient use of SAP, Catia V5, VPM, and ICC; knowledge of PASS SSCI and Taksy required
  • Proficient German (at least B2); business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Knowledge of the MOD process (component modification) and basic project management skills
  • Analytical thinking, independent working style, and strong communication skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
