Responsibilities
- Detailed design of mechanical system installations for movable wing components and flight control systems
- Project coordination for modifications and collaboration with engineering service providers, including implementation of construction document changes
- Technical solutions for the installation of mechanical flight control systems
- Documentation of installation adjustment instructions for various aircraft programs
- Manufacturing support by processing inquiries and conducting quality reviews of design results
- 3D modeling for the Digital Mock Up (DMU) in the Single Aisle program
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with teams from Manufacturing Engineering, System Definition, Quality Assurance, and other design offices
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience in engineering and design
- In-depth application knowledge of SAP, Catia V5, vpm, and VPM A350
- Knowledge of the MOD process (modification of installations) and basic knowledge of project management
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Analytical thinking, independent working style, and strong communication skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
