At Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching, you will work as a Load Calculation Engineer in the core area of flight physics. You will contribute significantly to load calculations and the definition of structural design criteria for military aircraft – from the concept phase to certification and qualification.

Responsibilities
- Load calculations for complete aircraft and perform load assessments
- Certification documents for loads to authorities and define requirements
- In-service events related to overloads or flight parameter exceedances
- Load calculations for subcomponents such as landing gear doors, antennas, or fins
- Qualification and certification documents such as specifications, test reports, or declarations of performance
- Qualification of equipment with respect to local acceleration for different programs
- Internal tools for load calculation
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (at least Master's or Diplom)
- Many years of professional experience in the aerospace industry
- Solid knowledge of aerodynamics and flight mechanics
- Knowledge of Python, MS Office, and Catia V5
- Good knowledge of Confluence and Jira is an advantage
- German language skills at an advanced level (at least B2)
- English language skills business fluent (at least C1)
- Teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
