At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will work as a Production Support Engineer at the interface between design and manufacturing. You will solve technical challenges in the ongoing production of the Airbus A320, A330, and A350 programs and ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities


  • Technical Problem Solving: Identify, analyze, and solve recurring technical problems with structural, electrical, and mechanical components
  • Production Control: Ensure optimal work results through joint planning and process design
  • Autonomous Production Team: Contribute as a core member of the team to achieve company goals
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of operational and production processes
  • Non-Conformities: Process and resolve deviations in ongoing production, considering design specifications
  • Work Orders: Create and control orders to eliminate production deviations
  • IT Research: Research in IT systems for drawings, components, tools, and technical documentation
  • Coordination: Coordinate with operational procurement for material supply and manage partner topics


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in engineering, aerospace, or a technical field (at least technician/master craftsman level)
  • Several years of professional experience in work preparation, manufacturing/production, and manufacturing engineering
  • In-depth application knowledge of SAP and good knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Good knowledge of process management and basic knowledge of Total Quality Management (problem-solving methods)
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work in 2-shift operation (early and late)
  • Structured, team- and project-oriented work approach, confidence in handling changing priorities, pronounced flexibility, and a high degree of personal responsibility
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
