We are currently filling a position for Airbus Aerostructures GmbH located in Hamburg-Finkenwerder: Production Support / Design Engineer in the field of Mechanical System Installation (MSI) for the Single-Aisle Programme. Tasks
- Central interface between production and design office in the area of mechanical systems for an Airbus aircraft fuselage
- Evaluation and processing of design-related discrepancies from production
- Development of technical solution proposals including implementation in temporary build documentation
- Preparation of change requests and process involvement within the MOD process
- Approval of technical documents in accordance with internal regulations (e.g. DTR)
- Validation of Design Query Notes (DQNs) and concessions
- Close coordination with internal and external stakeholders – also at international level
- Documentation, scheduling and quality assurance for series production implementation
Qualifications
- Completed technical degree, e.g. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering or a comparable field
- Extensive professional experience in the areas of Design Engineering, Development, Aircraft Manufacturing, general Engineering and Mechanical Systems in the aviation sector
- Solid knowledge of Change Management and civil aviation documentation required, ideally including experience in aircraft systems installation
- Confident handling of SAP, Catia V5, Taksy/Gesy/Tesy, and Google Workspace
- Experience with APS, PASS SSI, 3D Juump and Airina is an advantage
- Very good German and English skills (min. C1 level)
- Willingness for occasional on-call duty
- A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (student visa not accepted) is mandatory
