Responsibilities


  • Dimensioning and analysis of dynamic system components, considering weight and performance aspects
  • Perform static calculations and fatigue life analyses for metal and composite components using analytical methods and FE analyses
  • Plan and evaluate test definition and supervision for components and systems
  • Monitor and evaluate flight test campaigns
  • Assess quality reports and manufacturing deviations and develop solutions
  • Create and validate repair and modification documentation within the production process
  • Investigate and answer customer inquiries and operational incidents from a technical perspective


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Engineering or Aerospace (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering, ideally in stress analysis
  • Experience with common analytical stress methods (e.g., HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young)
  • Very good knowledge of Finite Element Method (FEM) with tools such as Hypermesh, Optistruct, NASTRAN, or ABAQUS
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German skills advantageous
  • CV in English required
  • Independent working style, team player skills, and good communication abilities
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
