Responsibilities
- Dimensioning and analysis of dynamic system components, considering weight and performance aspects
- Perform static calculations and fatigue life analyses for metal and composite components using analytical methods and FE analyses
- Plan and evaluate test definition and supervision for components and systems
- Monitor and evaluate flight test campaigns
- Assess quality reports and manufacturing deviations and develop solutions
- Create and validate repair and modification documentation within the production process
- Investigate and answer customer inquiries and operational incidents from a technical perspective
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Engineering or Aerospace (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience in engineering, ideally in stress analysis
- Experience with common analytical stress methods (e.g., HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young)
- Very good knowledge of Finite Element Method (FEM) with tools such as Hypermesh, Optistruct, NASTRAN, or ABAQUS
- Business fluent English (at least C1); German skills advantageous
- CV in English required
- Independent working style, team player skills, and good communication abilities
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
