Responsibilities
- Project leadership of certification projects including planning, reporting, and risk management
- Certification basis and requirements baseline for modifications of existing or new helicopter variants
- Certification strategy definition and alignment with all relevant stakeholders
- Compliance programs development and coordination with specialist departments, chief engineer, and authorities
- Project coordination of all activities necessary for certification within the overall project plan
- Network utilization of the Airbus Helicopters Airworthiness network to ensure certification goals are met
- Document validation of compliance evidence regarding fulfillment of airworthiness regulations and completeness
- Authority communication as the central point of contact for all certification matters
Qualifications
- Completed degree in engineering, aerospace, or mechanical engineering (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience in development, product development, and project management, ideally in the aerospace sector
- Experience in the development of helicopters or helicopter systems
- Knowledge and experience in the certification of aircraft and/or systems
- Basic skills in German (at least A2); business fluent English (at least C1); French language skills are desirable
- Experience in project management of transnational projects is advantageous
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to work
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
