Responsibilities


  • Operational responsibility for database infrastructures in Germany according to ITIL principles
  • Administration of database infrastructures in accordance with defined KPIs and SLAs
  • Planning and development of new database solutions, providing active support and implementation
  • Cost planning for the DATABASES product, managing and adhering to budgets
  • Technical support for root cause analysis and troubleshooting
  • Highest-level administrative tasks within your area of responsibility


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as IT Specialist, IT Salesperson, or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in IT / information systems
  • Experience in operating database solutions/technologies or as an IT project manager in the field of database infrastructures required
  • Experience with one or more of the following products is desirable: ORACLE (SOLARIS/LINUX), SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Python
  • Business fluent German (at least C1); proficient English
  • Independent and structured way of working as well as good communication skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
