The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 69,809 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.12.2027. Responsibilities


  • Operational responsibility for storage and backup products in Germany according to ITIL principles
  • Administration of storage and backup infrastructure according to defined KPIs and SLAs
  • Planning and development of new infrastructure solutions in the storage & backup domain
  • Cost planning and control for your own area of responsibility
  • Technical support for root cause analyses and incident resolution
  • Execution of highest-level administrative tasks within your area of expertise


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or IT system electronics technician with many years of professional experience OR a completed Master's or Diplom degree in Computer Science
  • Several years of professional experience in IT / information systems
  • Experience in the field of automation (e.g., with Ansible) is desirable
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: STORAGE (Block / File / Object / SyncMirror), BACKUP (Virtual / Disk / Tape), RECOVERY
  • Experience with one or more of the following products: NetApp, VEEAM, NetBackup, Commvault, Data Protector, Data Domain
  • ITIL knowledge and product certifications (e.g., NCDA, NCSIE, NCTA, MetroCluster) are advantageous
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • CV in English required
  • Teamwork skills, reliability, and a meticulous working style
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
