Responsibilities
- Data Center Operations: Responsibility for server platforms and virtualization solutions based on Windows and Linux
- Citrix Environments: Administration, setup, and operation of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops as well as VMWare ESXi
- System Optimization: Continuous improvement of virtualization systems to adapt to user requirements
- Infrastructure Projects: Support in planning, development, and implementation of new server and data center solutions
- Incident Management: Technical support for root cause analyses and incidents in the virtualization environment
Qualifications
- Successfully completed Master's or Diploma degree in Computer Science or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in IT, particularly in administering Citrix environments (Virtual Apps & Desktops)
- Extensive expertise in the areas of network, server, and client environments as well as virtualization environments (e.g., VMWare)
- Proficient handling of Active Directory, Windows 10, Windows Server, and Microsoft patch management
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Knowledge of ITIL and product certifications is advantageous
- Independent and structured way of working as well as good communication skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
