Tasks
- Participate in the analysis and creation of mechanical specifications for systems and subsystems (infrastructure, cabling)
- Maintain series devices and systems and process changes throughout the product life cycle
- Analyze existing designs and derive measures for product optimization
- Create mechanical parts and assemblies as 3D designs in Siemens NX (under guidance) and design them economically
- Performing calculations for strength, service life, wear, dimensioning, and weight; coordinating materials and manufacturing processes with production
- Creating manufacturing data packages / production documents (parts lists, drawings, delivery specifications)
- Support technical reviews and drawing checks and accompany the production and integration of prototypes and series devices
- Take responsibility for work packages in terms of time, costs, and quality; assist with cost estimation and scheduling
Qualifications
- Completed degree (at least a bachelor's) in mechanical engineering or comparable qualification
- Many years of experience in the development and mechanical design of mechatronic equipment, devices, and systems
- Good knowledge of general design, technology, and process standards
- Very good application skills in Siemens NX and good knowledge of SAP Product Lifecycle Management and Engineering Control Center (ECTR); Microsoft Office with detailed specialist knowledge
- Business fluent in German (at least C1) and advanced English (at least B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
