For our client HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH, we are looking for a Design Engineer Self-Protection Systems at the Taufkirchen site near Munich. In a highly specialized environment, you develop concepts and designs for sensors, computing units, and actuators – from the first idea to series support.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 63,141 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.06.2027. Responsibilities
- Requirements analysis for mechanical and electromechanical systems
- Concept development and design of hardware and sensor systems in Siemens NX (CAD), considering functional, manufacturing, and economic aspects
- Component and assembly design for (electro-)mechanical parts
- Series support for devices and systems, including maintenance of technical documentation
- Supplier coordination for purchased parts and definition of subcontracts
- Material and manufacturing process selection, as well as execution of tolerance analyses
- Simulation of thermal and mechanical loads using Finite Element Methods (FEM)
- Project responsibility for design work packages in interdisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable qualification (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience in the design of mechatronic devices and systems
- Very good knowledge of general design, technology and process standards, as well as additive manufacturing processes
- Proficient use of Siemens NX (CAD), SAP ECTR and SAP PLM; detailed knowledge of MS Office
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Teamwork skills, high sense of responsibility, and strong communication skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
