At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will work as a Supply Chain Interface Coordinator to manage the logistical interfaces to the international final assembly lines. You will optimize the material flow for the sites in China and the USA, thus directly contributing to the stabilization and ramp-up of global production.

Responsibilities


  • Interface management as the central point of contact between the back offices of the international final assembly lines and all internal Airbus departments as well as logistics service providers
  • Process optimization through continuous development and stabilization of material flow processes for the upcoming rate increase in Asia and the USA
  • Cost reduction by identifying, conceptualizing, and implementing measures to harmonize and optimize logistical processes
  • Disruption management and active participation in the procurement and delivery process, including the determination of master data such as origin, prices, and customs tariff numbers
  • Return processes for components and tools by monitoring and controlling them


Qualifications

  • Completed technical degree, business administration training, or training in the field of Supply Chain / Logistics, each at least at master craftsman level
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of scheduling/material procurement, supplier management, and operational and strategic procurement
  • Several years of experience in supply chain and logistics management
  • Secure application knowledge in SAP/R3; knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Willingness to travel worldwide (approx. once per year) and willingness to work in shifts (early and late until 8 p.m.)
  • Analytical mindset, independent working style, and pronounced communication skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
