Responsibilities
- Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001: coordinate, maintain, and develop
- Implement and apply the ISO 14001:2015 revision
- Review and apply the relevance of environmental legal regulations
- Optimize and document waste management
- Delegate environmental duties and track the associated documentation
- Ensure and maintain environmental documentation
- Shape and develop internal environmental communication
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training or degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental technology, supply engineering, or a comparable technical field
- Many years of professional experience in environmental management or a comparable technical function
- Knowledge of ISO management systems, especially ISO 14001 or EMAS
- Experience in monitoring wastewater treatment plants, waste management, and environmental projects
- Proficient use of Google Workspace
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Expertise as a water protection officer and waste management officer; knowledge of the Circular Economy Act (KrWG), the Proof of Origin Ordinance, the Waste Catalogue Ordinance, and the Water Resources Act
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and an independent, structured way of working with assertiveness
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
