For our client Lufthansa Technik AG, we are looking for a Spray Painter at the Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel site. Here, you will produce demanding painting work for VIP and special mission aircraft in a highly specialized environment – from preparation to final polishing.

Responsibilities

  • Individual painting work on cabin components for VIP and special mission aircraft according to technical specifications, including documentation
  • Surface preparation such as sanding, filling, priming, and staining
  • Process high-quality real wood veneers as well as clear, colored, texture, and metallic paint systems to perfection
  • Perform spot repairs and high-gloss polishing to a professional standard
  • Operate computer-controlled paint mixing stations and paint reading devices
  • Ensure process compliance and perform all activities according to relevant specifications
  • Make decisions regarding technically correct, timely, and cost-effective execution of assigned work
  • Use and maintain operating resources, machines, and tools appropriately and with care


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as a painter or carpenter with qualifications for high-quality painting work, or equivalent several years of professional experience
  • Relevant specialist knowledge and professional experience as a painter for visually demanding surfaces
  • Very good knowledge of industry-specific regulations, accident prevention regulations, environmental protection, and hazardous materials regulations
  • Basic skills in the use of IT systems
  • English language skills in spoken and written form (at least B1)
  • Shift work suitability and willingness to undertake job-related further training
  • Independent working style, initiative, teamwork, high resilience, and flexibility
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
