For our client Collins Aerospace - Aerostructures Goodrich Aerospace Europe GmbH, we are looking for a Painter at the Hamburg-Finkenwerder site. In a highly specialized environment, you will take on the professional surface treatment and painting of components – with technical understanding, care, and an eye for the perfect finish.

Responsibilities
- Work preparation: Prepare surfaces according to technical documentation, masking and taping off areas
- Surface treatment: Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding and cleaning
- Paint application: Apply various paint systems such as primer, topcoat, basecoat, and clearcoat in the paint booth
- Quality control: Check paint viscosity and precisely adhere to layer thicknesses and ventilation times
- Decoration: Apply logos using foils and technical small markings (decals) according to drawings and paint them
- Finishing: Sand, polish painted surfaces, and rework for customer complaints (touch up)
- Tool and material control: Check and manage operating resources and tools quantitatively and qualitatively
- Safety and order: Comply with occupational safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the workplace
Qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship as a spray painter or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in painting, ideally in an industrial setting
- Experience in handling various paint systems (primer, topcoat, basecoat, clearcoat) and in the wet-on-wet process
- Knowledge in applying foils and decals according to technical drawings
- Business fluent German (at least C1); basic English skills (at least A2)
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Flexibility, sense of responsibility, and teamwork skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
