At Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Taufkirchen near Munich, you will work as a Transportation Logistics Manager to steer global transport flows for complex aerospace projects. You are responsible for the performance, cost, and quality of logistics processes – from strategic planning to operational implementation. In an international environment, you implement transport strategies and optimize the network with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities
- Transport Management: Steer and continuously improve the performance, cost, and quality of global transport activities
- Process Optimization: Implement Airbus transport solutions, processes, and policies in transport activities and ensure compliance
- Contract Management: Define technical contract aspects and monitor compliance by transport providers and Airbus
- Strategic Planning: Define transport strategies and contribute to transport optimization projects
- Supply Chain Assurance: Ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery according to contract terms
- Risk Management: Conduct risk analyses with internal stakeholders and transport providers and establish escalation processes
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the areas of airworthiness, quality, environment, health & safety, export control, and dangerous goods
Qualifications
- Completed Master's or Diplom degree in International Management, Supply Chain / Logistics, Economics, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in transport management, ideally in a large international industrial environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of complex shipping types and logistics processes
- Detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1); French skills are a plus
- Stakeholder management and strong communication skills
- Teamwork skills and independent working style in a diverse team environment
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
