For our client Diehl Aviation Laupheim GmbH, we are looking for a Machine Operator / CNC Milling Machine Operator at the Laupheim site. In a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment, you are responsible for the precise machining of workpieces – from machine setup to quality control.

Responsibilities


  • Machine setup: Set up CNC machining centers, change tools, and calibrate measuring devices
  • Workpiece handling: Load, clamp, align parts, and monitor the machine cycle
  • Quality inspection: Check finished parts for dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and completeness
  • Series production readiness: Optimize manufacturing processes in close coordination with production planning and NC programming
  • Troubleshooting: Independently analyze and rectify process disruptions on machines
  • Process optimization: Propose and implement measures to increase manufacturing efficiency
  • Maintenance: Perform minor repair and maintenance work on production equipment


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic, Precision Machinist, or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in milling or CNC machining
  • Initial application knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Business fluent German (at least C1)
  • Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
  • Ownership of a car and driver's license
  • Strong teamwork, sense of responsibility, and independent working style
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
