For our client ArianeGroup GmbH, we are looking for a Mechanic as Test Bench Technician at the Lampoldshausen near Heilbronn site. In a highly specialized environment, you are responsible for the mechanical preparation, execution, and follow-up of hot-fire tests for chemical rocket engines – where every bolt and every measurement matters.

Responsibilities
- Test stand assembly and modification for hot-fire tests as part of engine development, qualification, and acceptance
- Mechanical work on test stand components such as vacuum systems, pumps, tanks, and hose lines
- Fueling and defueling operations with propellants while adhering to all required safety measures
- Installation and removal of engines under test into the test facility, followed by decontamination
- Test parameters mechanical setting and monitoring during the test run
- Testing such as pressure and leak tests, flow measurements, and cleanliness inspections
- Maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities
- Process documentation and development of ideas for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in a technical environment, ideally with test stands or plant engineering
- Experience in the application, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment (pumps, tanks, hose lines, seals)
- Basic knowledge of measurement technology and handling hazardous substances is an advantage
- Advanced application skills in MS Office
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English
- Crane and forklift license is an advantage
- Teamwork skills, high sense of responsibility, and a structured, resilient way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
