Tasks

  • Processing of metal by forming and machine operations
  • Assembly and integration of components into metal structures
  • Working with subassemblies made of composite materials
  • Performing riveting, bonding and bolting tasks on sheet metal parts (e.g. firewalls, bulkheads)
  • Optimising production processes for complex assemblies
  • Assigning materials to specific work orders and documenting each work step
  • Prototype assembly tasks for testing new structural components

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic or in a comparable metalworking profession
  • Extensive professional experience in manufacturing/production, aircraft construction, aircraft mechanics and in the field of sheet metal
  • German language skills at negotiation level (at least C1) and basic knowledge of English (at least A2)
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (student visas are not accepted)
