Responsibilities
- Installation and dismantling of fuel system components such as pumps, valves, and lines while adhering to specified torque values
- Testing and measurements performed independently, including leak, function, and gas-free tests
- Maintenance work such as inspections, modifications, and repairs carried out directly in the tank area
- Safety standards consistently adhered to, especially when working in confined spaces such as fuel tanks
- Process supervision and monitoring of fuel and defuel procedures
- Quality assurance as an own inspector (EP) by releasing assemblies
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician, or mechatronics technician
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production, mechanics, or mechatronics
- Experience working in confined spaces and safe handling of cramped working conditions
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Willingness to work shifts in a 2-shift system
- High physical mobility, teamwork skills, independent working style, and ability to work concentrated over longer periods
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
