Tasks

  • Integration of mechanical and electronic aerospace components according to specifications and drawings
  • Independent assembly of components, including tool preparation and quality assurance
  • Documentation of work steps and handover to quality assurance
  • Fault analysis and repair in case of deviations in accordance with repair orders
  • Support with technical expertise and improvement processes
  • Performance of functional tests before, during, and after integration
  • Ensuring that all materials and drawings are complete before starting assembly

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, aircraft builder, mechatronics engineer, or comparable qualification
  • Many years of professional experience in aircraft construction or quality assurance
  • Knowledge of ECSS or IPC manufacturing standards (e.g., soldering, crimping)
  • Experience in the integration of space equipment is an advantage
  • Confident use of SAP and good knowledge of MS Office
  • Business fluent German (at least C1), advanced English (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work shifts and travel occasionally
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
