Responsibilities
- Repair work on aircraft structures, for example on the outer skin
- Work preparation including reviewing orders, drawings, and providing components and manufacturing aids
- Positioning and fixing of components for assembly
- Assembly of parts and components according to technical specifications
- Documentation of all assembly and repair work performed
- Flexible deployment at various workstations within the assigned area
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an Aircraft Mechanic or in a metalworking trade
- Many years of professional experience in manufacturing or production
- Several years of experience in aircraft construction and structural assembly
- Experience in the aviation industry is desirable
- Proficient German language skills
- Basic English language skills (at least A2)
- Willingness to work shifts (possibly a 3-shift system)
- High quality awareness, teamwork, and resilience
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
