Responsibilities
- Manufacturing and integration of composite parts and sub-assemblies for aircraft structures
- Composite material processing: Cutting and processing monolithic and sandwich composite materials
- Applying manufacturing techniques such as prepreg, resin infusion, and resin injection processes
- Laminating and draping layers as well as forming and installing inserts
- Producing and testing vacuum bagging setups and curing parts in ovens
- Performing post-processing such as de-molding and repairing composite components
- Conducting quality inspections (Level 1) and work controls independently
- Ensuring traceability and compliance with all safety regulations throughout the entire process
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training in a skilled trade or metalworking profession (e.g., aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic, plastics and rubber processing mechanic, boatbuilder, carpenter)
- Many years of professional experience in manufacturing or production
- Practical experience in processing composite materials and bonding techniques
- Basic IT skills, for example in using Google Workspace
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and basic English skills (at least A2)
- Willingness to work in 3-shift operation and on weekends
- Quality awareness, sense of responsibility, and focused, independent way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
