Tasks
- Manufacturing and assembly of components and subassemblies in accordance with aviation-specific procedures (e.g. drilling, riveting, bonding)
- Processing of metal components and integration of electrical parts including electrical testing
- Structural and kinematic tasks on helicopter components
- Execution of equipment and assembly tasks (e.g. fuel system, flight control)
- Self-inspection and documentation in compliance with Airbus specifications
- Leak testing on fuel tanks and riveting of aluminium structures
- Use of manual tools and machines during assembly
- Planning and execution of work steps including handover to internal and external customers
Qualifications
- Availability on January 31, 2026 for a recruitment day in Donauwörth
- Completed vocational training as mechanic, mechatronics technician, plant mechanic or in a comparable metalworking profession
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing / production, mechanics, mechatronics and the aerospace industry
- Confident handling of technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Desirable: Riveting course or mechanical basic training
- Very good German language skills (min. C1) and advanced English language skills (min. B1)
- Willingness to work in shifts as well as occasional travel readiness (assembly work)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
