Tasks
- Creation of work plans and parts lists according to design specifications in SAP for additive manufacturing (3D printing) and assemblies
- Establishment of comprehensive manufacturing structures for test specimens and ALM components
- Industrialization of 3D-printed components, including construction job preparation through to first article inspection (FAI)
- Review of construction documents and manufacturing specifications for feasibility using known and new manufacturing processes
- Providing manufacturing support to the design department as an interface between engineering and the shop floor
- Supporting production control (extended workbench) for 3D-printed components
- Preparing cost analyses for ALM components and deriving cost-saving measures
- Continuously improving manufacturing and assembly processes, including participating in or leading improvement projects
Qualifications
- Training as a technician in the field of industrial metalworking, mechanical engineering, or similar, or qualification as a mechanic/metalworker with a technician or specialist degree
- Alternatively: Degree in engineering, aerospace, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics
- Several years of professional experience in scheduling/material procurement, manufacturing/production, and production planning and control
- Knowledge of additive manufacturing of metal components
- In-depth knowledge of SAP
- Business fluent in German (at least C1); advanced English (at least B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
