At Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth, you will take on a key role as an Project Engineer for Simulation & Production Analysis in the further development of manufacturing processes. Tasks

  • Development and validation of simulation models for manufacturing processes, material flows, robotics, and assembly
  • Identification of bottlenecks and risks through simulation analyses and derivation of optimization recommendations
  • Data analysis and reporting: Interpretation of simulation results and preparation of reports for stakeholders
  • Close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and IT
  • Technology scouting and evaluation of new methods and tools in the field of industrial simulation
  • Development and implementation of best practices and standards for simulation processes
  • Presentation of technical topics to decision-makers and executive stakeholders
  • Contribution to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes at Airbus Helicopters

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering or a comparable technical field
  • Several years of professional experience in industrial simulation, ideally in the aerospace sector or another high-tech industry
  • In-depth knowledge of simulation software such as Siemens Plant Simulation, Arena, FlexSim, AnyLogic, or Delmia Process Engineer
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++ or VBA is an advantage
  • Fluent German skills and fluent English skills (at least C1) required; French skills are a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
