You will support the development and integration of AI-based object recognition systems for reconnaissance missions, thereby contributing to the advancement of state-of-the-art sensor evaluation technologies.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 57,075 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 15.06.2027. Responsibilities
- Project coordination for computer vision projects from planning to implementation
- Development of computer vision solutions and support for integration into application platforms
- Roadmap definition for mission systems and support for demonstrating new technologies
- Technology evaluation of Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and other AI methods
- Project communication with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience in IT / information systems and project management
- Experience in the aerospace industry and in coordinating computer vision projects
- Programming skills in Python and C/C++ are mandatory
- Knowledge of AI / Vision and related tools is beneficial
- Business fluent English (at least C1); German skills are a plus
- CV in English language required
- Teamwork, communication skills, and independent working style
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
