Responsibilities
- Drawing Review: Review and release mechanical and electrical construction documents according to department standards and technical experience
- Engineering Coordination: Maintain close exchange with development for timely and high-quality delivery of work orders to production
- Manufacturing Dossier: Gather all relevant information for the creation of the manufacturing dossier
- SAP Master Data: Create bills of materials and production plans in SAP according to department standards
- Process Optimization: Define and implement improvement projects in manufacturing engineering to optimize procedures, standards, and tools
- Root Cause Analysis: Analyze inefficiencies in production and develop sustainable solutions for continuous improvement of the production system
- Design Consultation: Support new developments and enhancements with technical expertise
- Quality Management: Process quality notifications and implement design changes
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing and production, ideally with a focus on industrial mechanics
- Experience in the aerospace industry as well as in manufacturing engineering and on the shopfloor
- Knowledge in translating drawing documents into high-quality manufacturing dossiers
- Additional qualifications in MTM and REFA are advantageous
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Fundamental willingness to undertake business trips
- Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented working style with strong technical understanding and communication skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
