At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will work as a Supply Chain Quality Manager to steer quality assurance and industrial maturity for new product introductions and transfers of work. You coordinate the entire process from defect notification to resolution and ensure compliance with all Airbus requirements for smooth serial production.

Responsibilities


  • Quality Assurance: Responsibility for the end-to-end QSR process from defect notification to closure
  • Document Management: Preparation and review of all necessary documents for meetings and reports
  • Process Steering: Creation, launch, and follow-up of all quality survey reports (QSR)
  • IT Tools: Updating and maintaining all relevant systems such as SAP, SMP, and Google Drive
  • Safety-Related Items: Responsibility for SARIs, including containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Industrial Changes: Ensuring industrial qualification and maturity for NPI and ToW
  • Compliance: Monitoring compliance with Airbus requirements and steering the transition into serial production
  • Supplier Assessment: Leading industrial reviews at suppliers and conducting APQP assessments


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Quality (at least Bachelor's degree)
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering, supplier management, quality management, and supply chain
  • In-depth application knowledge of SAP and MS Excel (detailed functions)
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German skills are an advantage
  • Technical understanding is required
  • Willingness for occasional business trips (1-2 times per year within Europe)
  • Independent working style, teamwork, and strong communication skills
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
