At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will take on the role of Aircraft Manufacturing Quality Inspector, providing technical quality assurance directly on the final assembly line of the A320 family. You ensure every aircraft component meets the highest standards and coordinate the release for the next stages of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities


  • Quality Assurance: Ensure product quality through technical inspections during aircraft manufacturing
  • Deviation Management: Coordinate the release of components for the further manufacturing process
  • Non-Conformity Management: Create, track, and close deviations and non-conformance reports
  • Technical Instructions: Issue technical directives to production staff and provide expert support to certified inspectors
  • Training: Train new certified inspectors and define and approve work samples
  • Problem Analysis: Apply Practical Problem Solving (PPS) methods to resolve quality issues
  • Visualization: Present PPS activities and analysis results to the team


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or comparable technical training, at least at master craftsman level
  • Several years of professional experience in the aerospace industry
  • Several years of experience in quality assurance
  • Proficient use of SAP (advanced application knowledge); knowledge of Google Workspace is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Lean Management
  • Business fluent German (at least C1); proficient English (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work in shifts (2-shift system)
  • Teamwork skills, strong communication skills, and an independent way of working
  • Willingness to complete a pre-qualification
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
