Tasks
- Performing quality-related tests throughout the entire manufacturing process until product release
- Operating and evaluating complex 3D measuring machines, including optical and tactile methods
- Confident use of various measuring equipment, including roughness and contour measuring devices
- Documenting, labeling, and evaluating deviations in components, equipment, and measuring equipment
- Quality reporting and report generation in accordance with test results and design documents
- Testing of parts with complex form and position tolerances according to technical drawings
- Close coordination with adjacent areas such as production and design
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training in a metalworking profession (e.g., industrial mechanic/cutting machine operator)
- Further training as a technician or master craftsman desirable
- Many years of experience in measurement technology, quality assurance, and quality management
- Very good understanding of technical drawings, especially form and position tolerances
- Knowledge of turning and milling an advantage
- Very good knowledge of 3D measuring devices (optical and tactile)
- Confident use of testing and measuring equipment, including surface measurement technology
- Proficient use of SAP R/3
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is essential
