At Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Immenstaad, you will take on the role of Service Technician Software Integration, handling the installation, configuration, and fault analysis of vehicle equipment. You will work directly on-site with military customers, ensuring the functionality of complex communication systems.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 57,550 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.04.2028. Responsibilities


  • Installation & Configuration of vehicle information and communication equipment according to configuration specifications and checklists
  • Fault Analysis & Troubleshooting of vehicle equipment directly on-site
  • Functional Testing & Test Execution according to specifications and creation of corresponding test reports
  • Documentation of all activities and problems encountered at the deployment site
  • Knowledge Management through active contribution to knowledge sharing within the overall team
  • Customer Support with confident demeanor and independent working style for military customers


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Aircraft Systems (Aircraft Electronics Technician), Mechatronics Technician, IT System Electronics Technician, or in Electrical Engineering/Electronics
  • Initial experience in the integration, testing, and acceptance of systems is desirable
  • Knowledge of handling and configuring radio equipment (HF, VHF, UHF), mobile phones/cellular networks (TETRA), GPS, or satellite phones is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and experience with Atlassian Stack tools is advantageous
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
  • High willingness to travel for customer deployments and readiness to work with military customers
  • Possession of driving license classes B/3 and CE/2
  • Independent working style, teamwork skills, and confident demeanor with customers
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
