Responsibilities
- Test automation for fire-smoke systems: plan and implement automated testing
- Test cases: define and document based on software requirements
- Test coverage: verify in the requirement management tool IBM Rational Doors
- Test scripts: develop and optimize using Python
- Hardware/software integration tests (high-level testing): execute and analyze
- Low-level tests: implement and run using VectorCast/C++
- Interface testing: validate digital/analog I/Os, CAN bus, RS232, and SPI
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree (at least Bachelor) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or with a focus on embedded software development
- Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering/electronics and development
- Knowledge of functional testing on embedded systems and professional experience with aviation standards in software development/testing
- Advanced application knowledge in Python and IBM Rational Doors; knowledge of C programming language and VectorCAST/C++ desirable
- Business fluent in German (at least C1) and proficient in English (at least B2) for documentation
- CV in English required
- Teamwork skills, independent working style, and analytical thinking
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
