Responsibilities
- Software development for the test and simulation framework (TSF) using the ADA and C++ programming languages
- Avionic simulations for the desktop virtual rig environment (MaTE DTVR)
- Automated tests such as unit and module tests as well as conducting code reviews
- Virtual engineering in a mixed environment of simulations and real hardware
- Second-level support for the test and simulation framework (DTVR)
- Customer support in application development and system testing
- Process optimization through active participation in the continuous improvement process
Qualifications
- Successfully completed Master's or Diploma degree in Computer Science or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in IT / information systems
- Several years of experience in the aerospace industry
- Solid knowledge of software design patterns, architecture, system programming, and cross-platform development
- Expertise in simulation or avionic software development
- Programming skills in C++ and ADA are mandatory
- Knowledge of network technology, fieldbuses, distributed systems, Qt, Visual Studio MFC, Eclipse RCP, CI/CD, and Python is desirable
- Basic knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban)
- Proficient German language skills (at least B2)
- Business fluent English language skills (at least C1)
- Teamwork, communication skills, and independent working style
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
