For our client Diehl Aviation Gilching GmbH, we are looking for a Software Engineer Verification and Documentation at the Dresden location. You will take responsibility for software documentation according to the aviation standard DO178, ensuring the quality and traceability of embedded software developments.

Responsibilities


  • Software documentation according to aviation standard DO178, taking full responsibility for its implementation
  • Create design and architecture documentation for DAL-B embedded developments
  • Carry out necessary verification activities in the context of software development
  • Administer and coordinate results from software developers, testers, and verifiers
  • Support verification using the requirement management tool IBM Rational Doors


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering/electronics and software development
  • Professional experience and knowledge of aviation standards, especially DO178, required
  • Enjoyment of documentation and verification according to DO178
  • In-depth application knowledge of Python and IBM Rational Doors
  • Proficient German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2) for creating documentation and customer reviews
  • Teamwork skills, structured and independent way of working
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
