Responsibilities
- Strategic procurement and supplier management for raw materials, forgings, and castings in the civil and military helicopter sector
- Material supply for series production and spare parts stocking in close coordination with operational procurement
- Price and condition negotiations according to mandate and Operational Plan (OP), conducted independently
- Framework, volume, and development contracts negotiated and concluded
- Development projects supported on an interdisciplinary basis, participating in supplier selection
- Supplier management for continuous performance improvement and risk minimization
- Market monitoring in the procurement area, deriving strategic action options
Qualifications
- Completed degree in engineering or business administration (at least Bachelor's) or comparable qualification
- Many years of professional experience in strategic procurement (over 5 years)
- Several years of experience in supply chain management and contract management (each over 3 years)
- Proficient use of SAP and MS Excel (detailed specialist knowledge)
- Business fluent German and English (at least C1)
- High social competence, communication skills, and teamwork
- Structured way of working and experience in collaborating with international partners
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
