Responsibilities
- Procurement strategies: formulate and coordinate with Airbus teams for research and technology projects
- Supplier management: leverage market intelligence, strategic positioning, and performance evaluation for a coherent supply chain
- Project procurement: manage through tenders (RFI/RFP), preparation and conduct of negotiations up to contract signature
- Sourcing and screening: perform to identify new partnerships for research projects
- Contract management: negotiate cooperation and research agreements with suppliers and secure appropriate IP rights for Airbus
- Network development: build a large internal and external network and maintain professional supplier relationships with industry players
- Innovation acceleration: collaborate with international suppliers to accelerate innovations that bring value and differentiation to Airbus customers
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Engineering or Business Administration (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience in procurement, as well as experience in customer service and project management
- Experience in contract management and international negotiations with external stakeholders (suppliers, customers) is desirable
- Proficient use of SAP and Google Workspace
- Good knowledge of process management and risk management
- Business fluent English (at least C1); German and French are advantageous
- Willingness to travel (several times per year within Europe possible)
- Teamwork skills, communication strength, and independent working style
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
