Tasks

  • Ensure material availability for purchased and outsourced products across all procurement stages
  • Coordinate and manage ordering processes within operational procurement workflows
  • Track and report supplier performance, e. g. through supplier scorecards
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, including analyzing supply reach and optimization
  • Maintain material master data and control parameters in SAP
  • Act as an interface between internal departments and external suppliers to ensure ongoing communication and flow

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain / logistics, or international management (at least a bachelor's degree)
  • Several years of professional experience in purchasing, supplier management, operational / strategic procurement, and logistics/supply chain
  • Basic knowledge of project management, process management, and quality methods (TQM, problem solving)
  • Knowledge of DispoCockpit applications/modules desirable
  • Experience with SAP R/3 (detailed knowledge)
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2), Romanian skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel within Europe (once per quarter)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
