The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 46,168 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.12.2026. Responsibilities
- Repair work on aircraft structures, for example for skin damage
- Work preparation such as reviewing orders and drawings and providing components and manufacturing aids
- Component positioning and fixation for assembly
- Assembly of components and assemblies according to technical specifications
- Documentation of all assembly and repair work carried out
- Quality assurance through a high degree of care and quality awareness in all work steps
- Flexibility by working at different construction sites within the work area
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or in a metalworking trade
- Many years of professional experience in manufacturing or production
- Several years of experience in aircraft construction and structural assembly
- Experience in the aerospace industry is mandatory
- Good German language skills (at least B2)
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
- High quality awareness, teamwork skills and resilience
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
