Tasks
- Assembly of components and systems in metal and composite structures
- Machining of metal and fiber composite components
- Adjustment, deburring and sealing of metal parts
- Performing minor repairs (e.g., wet lamination work) in the field of structural mechanics
- Reading and applying technical drawings and documentation
- Use of classic hand tools in aviation assembly
- Drilling out defective rivet connections
- Compliance with the highest quality standards in production
Qualifications
- Training as an aircraft mechanic, automotive mechanic, metalworker, bodywork mechanic or comparable metalworking profession
- Many years of professional experience in mechanics, manufacturing/production, aircraft construction or aerospace
- Experience working with metal and composite materials
- Knowledge of wet laminate repairs and minor electrical work desirable
- Confident use of MS Office
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and basic English (at least A2)
- Willingness to work two shifts and travel on business
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is essential
