At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Nordenham, you will work as a Structure Mechanic Aerospace on the A350 – one of the most advanced aircraft in the world. With your craftsmanship and attention to detail, you’ll take responsibility for assembling structural components made of composite materials like CFRP and GFRP – ensuring top-quality results in a high-tech aerospace environment.

Tasks

  • Manufacture and assemble riveted connections and subassemblies on structural components
  • Work according to drawings, technical orders and aerospace production standards
  • Prepare the workstation: review job orders, set up parts and tools, check production equipment
  • Position and fix components before assembly
  • Assemble and document components and aircraft structures
  • Work with composite materials such as CFRP (carbon fiber) and GFRP (glass fiber)

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as Aircraft Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, Car Mechanic / Mechatronics Technician, Toolmaker, Boat Builder, Carpenter, or similar metalworking profession
  • Several years of professional experience in structural assembly and production
  • Experience with CFRP and GFRP materials is a plus
  • German language skills – proficient, English – basic level
  • Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
  • A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
