At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will shape the logistical interfaces to the assembly lines in China and the USA as a Supply Chain & Logistics Process Manager. Responsibilities
- Interface management as the central point of contact between assembly lines in China/USA, internal Airbus departments, and logistics service providers
- Process optimization through continuous development and harmonization of material flow processes for international production
- Cost reduction by identifying, conceptualizing, and implementing measures to lower logistics costs
- Disruption management and active participation in the procurement and delivery process
- Master data maintenance for components, including origin, prices, material properties, and customs tariff numbers
- Monitoring of the return process for components and tools
Qualifications
- Completed technical degree, business administration degree, or training in Supply Chain / Logistics (at least master craftsman level)
- Several years of professional experience in scheduling/material procurement, supplier management, and operational and strategic procurement
- Several years of experience in supply chain and logistics management
- Proficient use of SAP/R3 as well as knowledge of Google Workspace
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Willingness to travel (once per year, worldwide) and willingness to work shifts (early and late until 8 p.m.)
- Strong teamwork skills, communication skills, and analytical thinking
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
