Tasks

  • Evaluate and coordinate feasibility and provisioning measures for equipment modifications based on technical documentation
  • Gather and assess relevant data in collaboration with interface partners
  • Review and negotiate the availability and conditions of loan devices with manufacturers and material planners
  • Manage SAP-based procurement and return processes for loan devices
  • Prepare offers for modification campaigns considering customer-specific requirements and cost optimization
  • Control and ensure contractual compliance of modification campaigns on a global scale
  • Analyse root causes of material shortages and derive and implement appropriate measures
  • Evaluate process deviations and submit structured change requests to responsible process owners
  • Act as a technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding operational modification topics
  • Monitor and report on contract fulfilment and progress of modification campaigns

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in industrial engineering, engineering with strong commercial knowledge or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in aircraft and component maintenance
  • Excellent knowledge of modification management, material management and internal process structures
  • Ideally, experience in component supply, business administration, maintenance processes at Lufthansa and material management
  • Proficient in SAP/R3, SAP BW, MAX and confident in using MS Office
  • Advanced English skills (at least B2)
  • Willingness to travel internationally, participate in job-related training and, if necessary, undergo a psychological suitability assessment
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is absolutely required
